CHEERS TO THE NEW YEAR!

We are eager and excited to ring in 2022 with you and your family. The new year will bring exciting programming, tours, events, and two new exhibitions to the Sigal Museum. The roof will be replaced at the 1753 Bachmann Publick House and new, open storage for our ceramics collection will be installed.

ANOTHER AMERICAN’S AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Our new exhibition, Another American’s Autobiography: Selections from the Petrucci Family Foundation’s Collection of African American Art is receiving rave reviews from the community. Drop by the Sigal Museum to enjoy this exquisite collection of paintings, video, textiles, and sculpture created by Black artists.

The exhibition runs through July 10.

HISTORIC EASTON WALKING TOURS

Stroll the streets of downtown Easton to explore fascinating stories and the unique, historic structures with our friendly guide. Explore the hidden places and often overlooked histories of the community we call home!

1753 BACHMANN PUBLICK HOUSE: RAISE THE ROOF

CHAWNE KIMBER PROGRAM – SAVE THE DATE

Join us for a virtual program with acclaimed quilter, Chawne Kimber on February 24. Kimber is a former mathematics professor at Lafayette College and current Dean of the College at Washington and Lee University. She is known for expressing her political activism through quilting. Hear about the quilt currently on exhibition at the Sigal Museum, learn about her background, and find out why she shares messages through quilts.

SACHETS AND SUFFRAGE TEA – SAVE THE DATE

Celebrate Women’s History Month with our Sachets and Suffrage Tea at the historic, Mixsell-Illick House on March 26.

This won’t be your ordinary tea! Famous suffragists will be on hand in period dress to chat about their lives and experiences. Join us for a fun afternoon while exploring what took place during the long road to secure women’s right

to vote.

Tickets cost $25. Contact us for reservations (required). Please note this program may be postponed due to CDC guidelines.
