We are ready to begin the season of Lent once again. Ash Wednesday falls on February 26th. While we often think of Lent as a somber time(which in many ways it is), Lent is a season of reflection as we seek to improve our relationship with God. Sometimes we will give up something or take on something new. Whatever we do, and whatever we may discover during our season of introspection, the unwavering constant is God’s love. God’s love never ends, God’s love is unconditional. God’s love is for all. God’s love is unearned, undeserved, and all encompassing. As you walk through this season of Lent, think of God’s wonderful Valentine gift of love. Rejoice in all that God has blessed you with!
