FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Gathering Place International Ministries Urgently Calls for Community Support to Aid Bethlehem’s Homeless Amid Winter Crisis Bethlehem, PA – As winter’s chill deepens, The Gathering Place International Ministries is facing an emergency situation, and we need your help. Our Warming Center, a vital lifeline for Bethlehem’s homeless community, is quickly running out of the resources we rely on to provide warmth, dignity, and hope to those who need it most. With the coldest months ahead, we are urgently calling on local businesses, organizations, and individuals to come together and support this critical work. At this moment, we are in dire need of: • Coats • Blankets • Boots • Socks • we critically need a new oven and refrigerator to prepare meals • A van to safely transport those we serve But our mission goes beyond providing shelter. We also offer access to showers and laundry facilities, which help restore dignity and maintain hygiene for those who have nowhere else to turn. These services are a lifeline for individuals who have been forgotten by society, and your support can make all the difference. This is not just a request—it’s an urgent call for help. With winter already here, the needs are growing every day, and we cannot continue without your partnership. Every donation, whether it’s a coat, a meal, or a van, directly impacts someone’s life. You can be the reason someone feels seen, cared for, and safe this winter. If you are able to contribute or partner with us, please contact Brenda Cordero (347) 340-0912. Together, we can show the power of community and ensure that no one in Bethlehem faces the cold alone.
