Nazareth, PA: December 8^th – December 9^th, 2023

Event Information: 

The Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce, a proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to present Christmas in Nazareth – a two-day celebration set to enchant the community with holiday cheer. Taking place on Friday, December 8th, and Saturday, December 9th, this event promises an unforgettable experience for families and friends.

On Friday evening at 7 pm in the heart of Nazareth at the Center Circle, the festivities commence with a magical tree lighting ceremony; a lively celebration, including a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a live performance by All Things Brielle, and greetings from local officials. Nazareth’s own A Pinch of Sugar will generously provide free hot chocolate and coffee, while whimsical holiday characters roam the area.

“The holiday feeling is in the air; you can feel it strongly throughout Nazareth.  We are looking to channel that energy to a festive two-day event bringing much of the community together,” says Aaron Gasparetti, Manager of the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce.

Then, on Saturday, December 9^th, it’s time to shop locally in Nazareth with Christmas in Nazareth! Running from 10 AM – 3 PM, the event is a borough-wide initiative that highlights multiple community partners and plenty of family-friendly activities. Featuring live performances by Nazareth School District groups, a live ice carving demonstration (sponsored by Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital), live reindeer (sponsored by the Reichel-Knecht Family) and a vendor market in the Nazareth YMCA parking lot, and a shuttle service sponsored by Easton Coach Company, there is something for everyone to enjoy. “We’re excited to once again to partner with Truist to present the Elf Trail in Downtown Nazareth, too,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Assistant VP of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Each participating business will hide an elf for attendees to find, and encourage them to shop locally and shop small with different activities, deals and specials.”

Each business will offer different activities, deals or incentives for participants to partake in; Elf Trail passports are free and available at any of the Elf Trail participating businesses or at the Chamber Booth at both the Tree Lighting on December 8^th and in Vendor Alley (in the YMCA Parking Lot) on December 9^th.
