Evangelist David Brady10:45 am – 10:45 am
Evangelist David Brady to Speak at Northampton
Assembly of God Revival Services March 4-7
Evangelist David Brady of Ligonier, PA will be the guest speaker for revival services beginning Sunday, March 4, and continuing through Wednesday evening, March 7, at Northampton Assembly of God, 3449 Cherryville Road, Northampton. Services will be held at 10:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, and 7:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
Evangelist Brady has previously conducted revival meetings in the church. He effectively communicates the Gospel through a lively and often humorous preaching style as he paces the platform and proclaims the truths of God’s Word relating to man’s need of salvation from sin, healing, deliverance from evil habits, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Brady grew up in a dysfunctional and alcoholic home and by the age of 15 he was on the streets using drugs and alcohol. One night, while drinking with his friends in the woods, he felt empty inside. He recalls, “The more that I drank, the more empty I felt. I began smashing beer bottles against the trees yelling ‘There has to be more to life than this!’” That Sunday morning, as he returned home from drinking all night, he heard the bells of a church compelling him to come. There, at the age of 18, he heard the message of salvation and came to Christ. The Lord set him free from drugs and alcohol and called him into the ministry.
The services will also emphasize joyful congregational singing, praise, and worship to God with special times of prayer and seeking God around the altar.
Pastor Daniel E. Lundmark cordially invites the public to attend.

BRAIN FITNESS PROGRAM (all-day)Mar 6
THE TERRACE AT PHOEBE ALLENTOWN HOLDS BRAIN FITNESS PROGRAM
The Terrace at Phoebe Allentown, 1940 Turner Street, will hold a new session of its Brain Fitness Program from March 19 to May 11, 2012. Registrants are asked to commit 1 hour per day (Monday through Friday) for the entire 8-week period for maximum results.
The class is $40 or participants can sign up for Brain Fitness now and a future class of Insight to save $10. Brain Fitness and InSight classes are open to the public. Classes will run on demand therefore schedules may vary. A class must have a minimum of 3 people enrolled to take place.
This unique program is based on new scientific findings that have revealed the brain to be more adaptable than once thought. Through a process called plasticity, the brain may have the ability to change, adapt and even reorganize itself with regular use of intensive, repetitive and progressively challenging activities, like the Brain Fitness and InSight Programs. It may also help stave off debilitating diseases like Alzheimer’s disease.
The original Brain Fitness Program software speeds up and sharpens the auditory system of the brain for faster thinking, sharper focus, and better memory. InSight does for the visual system of the brain what the Brain Fitness program does for the auditory system. It improves what your brain takes in, reacts to, and remembers what you see.
To register, please call 610-794-MIND (6463) by March 6.
