services and dialogues as well as the Campbell Lectures on Christian Unity. These
are unique opportunities to come together, keep together, and work together as people

Lenten Services/Dialogues Every Wednesday During Lent
FROM RACISM TO GRACE
The LCCC Ash Wednesday service will begin at 11:55 AM on Wednesday, February 22,
at Zion’s Reformed UCC, 620 Hamilton Street, Allentown. The theme will be “From
Racism to Grace” presented by LCCC Ecumenical Director The Rev. Elliot H. Ramos.
There will be liturgy and imposition of ashes after the benediction. The public
is invited. An offering will be accepted.
A light lunch will be available in Fellowship Hall following the half-hour service
for a donation of $3.50. Public parking is available nearby.
A discussion series will be conducted every Wednesday during Lent at the Allentown
Brew Works, 812 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown. Every week there will be a different
speaker addressing the theme for the series: “From Racism to Grace” in Business,
Education, Government and Social Services, Entertainment and the Church.
Facilitator for the series will be Dr. Ethel Drayton-Craig, an independent consultant
whose recent book is entitled “Stepping Stones to Success: Experts Share Strategies
For Mastering Business Life & Relationships”.

2012 Campbell Lectures on Christian Unity – Thursday, March 22
LESSONS FROM WORLD CHRISTIANITY
FOR NORTH AMERICAN CHRISTIANS
The Robert K. Campbell Memorial Lectures on Christian Unity WILL present Dr. Lamin
Sanneh, Professor of Missions & World Christianity and History at Yale Divinity
School on Thursday, March 22, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at DeSales University, Center
Valley.
The morning lecture will begin at 10:00 AM followed by a luncheon at 12:30 PM. The
afternoon lecture will begin at 1:30 PM. A full reservation package is $30.00 or

Daybreak was the subject of WBPH Channel 60 “Taking the Initiative” recently. The
show will be rebroadcast this Friday, the 17th at 8:30 PM and will soon be available
in the show’s on line archives. Daybreak Director Bill Miller and Executive Director
Rev. Dr. Chris Nelson present the Conference’s ministry with people struggling
with mental illness. Check local listings including satellite networks for the
specific channel.

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church

Join St. Luke’s Lutheran for an evening of Praise & Worship in song and music with
other believers in Christian faith. Praise the Lord in a loud joyous way. Everyone
is welcome! Music by DOGWOOD (a Contemporary Praise Band), featuring Bells of Hope
(St. Luke’s Church Bell Choir) and the St. Luke’s Celebration Choir (the Senior

Free six-session support group meeting Tuesday evenings, February 28 to April 10,

(There will be no group session March 20.) The group is open to anyone who has
experienced the end of a long-term relationship and seeks support as they navigate
the multiple life changes brought about by the end of the relationship.
Living with Loss
Free six-week grief support group open to anyone who has experienced the death of
a loved one and seeks understanding and support as they deal with feelings and changes
brought on by their loss.
