Spaghetti & Meatballs Dinner11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Christ United Methodist Church, 400 W. Berwick Street, Easton will be holding a Spaghetti & Meatballs Dinner on Sunday April 14th from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM. Adults $7.00 in advance or $7.50 at the door. Children ages 6-12, $4.00 in advance or $4.50 at the door. The event is wheelchair accessible. Tickets may be purchased by calling 610-258-4762. You and your church family are invited to join a live “Walking of the Cross” in the City of Allentown on Saturday, March 23rd from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. This city-wide, multi-church event brings the message of the Cross through the streets of the great City of Allentown! What a wonderful opportunity for the Body of Christ in Allentown to unite to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for such a time as this!
The “Walking of the Cross” is a 2.5 mile route and is filled with singing, prayer and praise as the wooden cross is brought through the city streets! Please have your church join for this incredible and spiritually impactful “Walking of the Cross”! An organization and information for all participants will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 7:00 P.M. at Union Baptist Church, 302 N. 6th Street, Allentown, PA. POCONO MT. COMMUNITY CHORUS ANNOUNCES THIS YEAR’S HOLY WEEK CONCERT SCHEDULE
SWIFTWATER, PA.– March, 2013 – THE POCONO MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY CHORUS
will present its 34th Annual Holy Week Concerts at the following regional churches:
Sunday, March 24, 3:00 p.m., hosted by United Presbyterian Church, Belvidere, NJ
Founder and Director, Jack Hamblin, has selected a program of scared music drawn from various periods,
composers, and styles for this very moving musical journey through Holy Week.
Accompanists will be Gary Raish and Judy Munoz.
The Chorus is comprised of approximately 60 singers representing 30 different area churches
of all denominations. Chorus members are volunteers who sing without formal audition.
The Chorus rehearses for six Sunday afternoons before and during Lent to prepare for the
three Holy Week Concerts.
A free-will offering is received at each concert to benefit the Chorus’ Music Fund. All are welcomed to
attend and share in this service in music!
