    1. Care Net of the Lehigh Valley Walk for Life (all-day)

      Care Net of the Lehigh Valley will be holding their annual Walk for Life and Picnic at the Upper Saucon Township Community Park on Saturday, April 21st.

      Walkers are needed for the approximate 1 mile walk.  Event registration begins at 9:30 and is held rain or shine with the walk beginning at 10:00 AM

      This is a fundraising event for Care Net of the Lehigh Valley.  Funds raised from this event are used to continue providing pregnancy support services, material resources and life skills classes to women, men and their families. Care Net operates four offices located in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and Wescosville.

      Individuals and groups are invited to participate and/or sponsor walkers. Free Care Net t-shirts will be awarded to those who donate $200.00 or more and pre-register, while supplies last.  Prizes for top donors will also be awarded.

      Lehigh Valley Christian High School, 330 Howertown Road, Catasaqua, PA 18032 will be holding a 33MILES Acoustic Worship Concert at LVCH on Saturday, April 21st. at 7 PM.  Tickets cost $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Churches are encouraged to purchase a whole block of tickets to the concert for your congregation. For every block of twenty, we will give two free tickets.

      St. John  United Church of Christ in Riegelsville, PA, is hosting a FILLED BASKET BINGO at the Riegelsville Firehouse on Sunday, April 22nd at 2 PM in the afternoon.  Doors open at 1 PM.  There will be games of bingo, door prozes, raffle items, and refreshments.  Tickets are $20.  For tickets and information or reservations, please call 610-749-2551 and leave a message with your name, number of tickets desired, and a phone number, or place the information in an envelope with a check payable to “St. John UCC” and mail to: 651 Easton Road, Box 236, Riegelsville, PA 18077 RE: BASKET BINGO.  Tickets will be held at the door.  This event is in no way connected with or sponsored by the Longaberger Company.
