Spring Breakfast & Prayer8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Moms in Prayer International will be hosting a Spring Breakfast & Prayer time on Thursday May 3rd, 2012, The national day of prayer. This will be held at Life in Christ Church, 51 Hillmond Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Doors open at 8:30 AM with the service beginning at 9:00 AM and ending around 11:30 AM. National Day of Prayer will be held on Thursday May 3rd, 6:30pm. Local
churches and individuals are invited to join in prayer walks beginning at
one of four locations: 5th and Northampton Streets, the Free Bridge at
Larry Holmes Drive, 3rd St. and Larry Holmes Drive, or 3rd St. and Bushkill
St. Participants will then walk to Easton’s Circle for a service of prayer

100 + Family Yard Sale (all-day)May 4 – May 5
A 100 + family yard sale will be held inside Bethany Church, 1208 Brookside Road, Wescosville, PA 18106. The sale will be Friday, May 4th and Saturday May 5th from 8am – 2 pm. Over 7,000 square feet of electronics, household goods, baby & children’s items, toys, books, furniture, exercise & sports equipment, clothing, antiques, records, seasonal decor and more. There will also be a Silent Auction. They will also be having a bake sale, hot dogs, home made soup and snacks. Don’t miss this exciting event.

Jordan United Church of Christ, at 1837 Church Road in Allentown, PA is having an Electronics and
Universal Waste recycling event on May 5 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Any item
that has an ON/OFF switch can be recycled and diverted from landfill. This
is part of the church’s green project to re-duce, re-cycle, re-use and

East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church will be holding a spaghetti dinner
on Saturday, May 5th from 4:30 – 7:00pm to benefit the children’s summer
camp program. The dinner will be held in the fellowship hall of the church
located at 83 South Courtland Street in East Stroudsburg. Tickets are $8 for
adults and $4 for children under the age of 10. Tickets are available at the

NOCKAMIXON STATE PARK- May 9 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Students from Delaware Valley College will be bringing LIVE reptiles to the Education Center on May 9. They’ll be bringing a variety of snakes, lizards and turtles to view and discuss with participants. Come anytime between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. Enjoy an entertaining and informative time with your family at the park this spring! This program is FREE and no pre-registration is required.The live animal show meets at the Education Center. To reach the Education Center, enter through the Marina entrance off of Route 563. Go to the stop sign and turn right. Park in the first lot on your left, Lot 12. Follow the signs to the Education Center. If you have disability tags or plates please call the Education Center about accessible parking.

USA Architects 5 Year Anniversary Ride to Raise Funds for The Boy Scouts (all-day)May 12
Ride & Celebrate Scouting
This terrific motorcycle ride will be a scenic tour of the Lehigh Valley and beyond — with laps around Pocono Raceway — and finishing at Trexler Scout Reservation!
The goal is 100 bikes and $10,000 raised to benefit Scouting in the local Minsi Trails Council. All money raised here stays here to support local Scouting programs.

Plan on riding in this great event! All participants will receive lunch and a 2012 commemorative tee-shirt. Help celebrate Scouting in the USA!
