      The Bethlehem National Day of Prayer will be held at noon, Thursday, May 2, 2013, at City Hall Payrow Plaza, 10 E. Church Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.

      A Prayer Walk of the City to the Noon Prayer event will meet at 10:30 AM at El Shaddai Bethlehem Ministries, Bethlehem Christian Training Center, 529 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.

      The Auxiliary of Phoebe Allentown, 1925 West Turner Street, will hold a flea market on Friday, May 3 from 8 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Moyer Hall.

      The flea market will also feature sales of hanging flower baskets and refreshments. Donations will be accepted beginning April 8 with the exception of furniture, clothing, magazines or encyclopedias.

      Teachers, preachers, leaders and all others interested in learning new
      and inventive ways to share Scripture through different forms of acting
      and storytelling are invited to this workshop given by professional,
      accomplished actors. Those who come will be invited to participate in a
      variety of drama and storytelling activities, including five ways to
      perform a story in church and how to use drama in worship and education.

      The Friends of the Groom Christian Theater Company is an
      interdenominational theater group from the greater Cincinnati area.
      Founded in 1980, they are dedicated to staging the Christian faith in an
      entertaining but challenging format. Their name refers to the image of
      Christ as the bridegroom in the New Testament. Visit

      The annual Walk/Run for life sponsored by Care Net of the Lehigh Valley will be held May 4, 2013  Registration begins at 9:30 AM and the walk starts at 10:00 AM.  The event will be held at the Upper Saucon Township Community Park.  There will be a picnic for the whole family immediately following the walk.
