NOCKAMIXON STATE PARK – April 25 from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.
Home School students in the 6th-8th grades will get a hands-on lesson about invasive species and the ecological havoc they cause the Home School Invasive Species program on April 25.  Students will learn about different types of invasive species found at the park, learn about the problems they cause our native plants and animals and participate in removing one type of invasive plant from around the Education Center. Home School Invasive Species meets at 1:30 pm at the Education Center.  This program is FREE, but pre-registration is required.  To register on-line, please go to http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/Calendar/list.asp and select Nockamixon State Park.
