Geocache Walk

NOCKAMIXON STATE PARK -  September 26 at 2:00 pm
Got the day off of school or work? Come join us on September 26 at 2:00 pm for a walk in the lovely fall weather and learn about geocaching! Geocaching is sometimes called a modern day treasure hunt. We will be walking the Quarry Trail looking for geocaches along the way. You are welcome to bring your own GPS unit (or smart phone with geocaching app) or register to borrow one of the park’s units. This walk should last about an hour. These caches are “take one, leave one”.  If you would like to participate please bring 4 small objects to trade (such as baseball cards, pencils, erasers, etc..) This walk may be cancelled due to rain, please call the Education Center an hour prior to the walk to verify the status. If you are bringing your own GPS unit, the GC codes are: GC31483, GC3148E, GC35WVY, GC3147F. We will be meeting at Quarry Trail, which is at the end of Old Bethlehem Road, off of Route 563.
