WILD and WONDERFUL Wednesdays

and these special dates:

Sept. 15 – “Vive tu Vida” – Move to the beat in a kids Zumba class, sample healthy food and smoothies, chill out with kids yoga and learn how to say ‘no’ to sugar. Join St. Luke’s Hospital’s diabetes professionals and caring fitness pros as you learn how healthy eating and exercise habits can help you BE and DO your best. Act out your inner vegetable as part of the show when PYT’s Storybook Theatre performs Kevin Henkes’ “My Garden.”

Oct. 6 – Pirate and Princess Story Time – Shiver me timbers!  Join Commodore Kellie for a bounty of merry pirate mayhem. Talk like a pirate, sing a family-friendly sea shanty, earn a pirate name, hear fun stories, and discover some hidden treasure inside yourself!  Pirates are masters of disguise and surprise, so come in your pirate or Halloween costume, and be prepared for the unexpected!

Nov. 3 – Teddy Bear Checkup – Bring your favorite bear or other stuffed animal to the Reading Room, and doctors from Lehigh Valley Health Network will listen to its heart, fix boo-boos and make sure all is well! Includes story time.

Dec. 1      NCC Theatre Presents: Puppet Show, “Holiday Tails,” stories from our animal friends about how they celebrate Hanukah, Christmas and Kwanza. Make your own animal puppet after the show!

Dec. 8      Paintbox Party with Children’ Mural Artist and Author, Roey Ebert.

20 seats available – registration required; wait list in case of cancellations. Follow this former Language Arts teacher step by step, as you paint a picture pretty enough to give as a gift. No prior painting skills required. You can do this!
